Christmas Wreath

Hello everyone....hope all is well with you!!! We got some much needed rain this weekend...about 2 inches...Whoohoo!!!!! My Sister-in-law and Niece are here visiting from Alaska....Andi has retired from the Air Force and she is in transition so they will be staying with us for a while. She has a job in the Dallas area but needs to buy a home. We looked last week and will go again on Tuesday....keep your fingers crossed that we find the perfect home!!!! Oh, I forgot to tell you that they have 5 little dogs....we are having quite a time...LOL!!!! They are all such good little boys and are perfect gentlemen....they each have their own personalities and little quirks. I'll share some pics in a couple of days. Anyway....

My church craft group is busy creating for this years craft fair in November. The wreath was one of the projects we made for the fair....it was sooo easy to make...just rolled up the 4" pieces of  designer paper to form a cone and hot glued them around a  paper plate that was covered with a large doily.  The 6" circle was adhered to a piece of chipboard and then hot glued to the cone layer. The lace was hot glued to the back of the circle and the cording was adhered to the front. The doily and banner were adhered to the circle then the punched birds and leaves were added with foam dots. The sentiment was added to the banner prior to adhering the banner to the circle.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend....I'm off to bed while the pups are quiet!!!!

Oh lucky you to have all those pups! I'd be in heaven! Love the Christmas banner. If you left off the center sentiment, it would also make a lovely place to sit a basket or vase filled with greens. Love all the fun papers you used!

Hey Joan, what a great Christmas project, and I like how the papers you chose co-ordinate so well together, really gives a lovely effect to the wreath.

Thanks for your sweet comment - I reckon you'd make an excellent duty nurse and I'd be well looked after by you, lol. I am getting a bit better, and have even had my copics out so that's a good sign, eh?

Hope your SIL finds her dream home, with plenty of room for the dogs. Must get pretty noisy at your place come feeding time, he hee.

have a good week!
