Shabby Saturday

Good morning everyone!!! Today is the first full day of demonstrating in the Rubbernecker booth at the Grapvine Stamp Show!!!! I am all pumped up...we had dinner last night with Bev, her hubby, Ron, and Dave (Mr. Rubbernecker) and his sweet wife, Patty....we had sooo much fun!! I am ready to meet lots of stampers and get my fingers real inky!!!

I made this card the other day ....the Webster's Pages dp has been sitting on my counter for quite a while, so I decided to show it a little love. I added pearls, lace, seam binding, a wood dress form by KaiserCraft, button, wire twine, sewing, distressing, and a butterfly from Rubbernecker's Butterflies are free set. It was colored with copics, cutout, and popped up with foam dots. Saturday seemed like a great day to get a little shabby!!!

Have a great day and don't forget to come on out to the stamp show....I would love to see ya!!!

What a great combo of colors and elements with the Webster's Pages dp! Very shabby and vintage. Wish I was closer to be able to 'stop in' at the show, bit of a road trip from MI. :D

Beautiful card, Joan! I love how the vintage ephemera like dress forms and birdcages make such interesting elements for cards. You arranged them perfectly and the color choice is inspired!

I think this is really gorgeous, Joan, the wooden dress is a beautiful feature and goes well with the paper design. Have to love those Websters papers, you chose a fantastic one here. CoB
