Happy Birthday Wishes

Good morning my sweet stamping friends!!! Are you planning anything for the 4th?? My mom wants a hot dog so George is going to BBQ on Monday...hope he cooks some chicken and sausage, too!!! Since it's been so dry here they have cancelled the fireworks...I guess we will have to watch them on TV. Anyway....

I made this card for yesterday's Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast...the challenge was to use something old and something new. I used the new Rubbernecker Happy Birthday Circle stamp #SKU: 565-20 as my new and the Stampin Up! crocheted flowers, which are over a year old, as my old. The paper is from My Minds Eye Stella Rose and the pearl flourish, scalloped edge, and die cut leaves finish it off.
Recipe:Stamps: Rubbernecker Happy Birthday Circle
Paper: White, Chocolate Chip, Stella Rose dp from My Minds Eye
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Crocheted Flowers, Pearls, Pearl Flourish, Nestabilities Lacey Circles, Spellbinder's Foliage die, Die-namics Scallop Die, Sewing Machine

This is also for a few other challenges:
1. 4 Crafty Chicks - stitching
2. Crafty Purple Frog Challenge - pearls and swirls
3. Crafts and Me Challenge - birthday
4. Divas by Design - diecuts and/or punches
5. Deep Ocean Challenge - flowers

Thanks for dropping by...have a great holiday weekend!!!

Oh so very pretty! Love those little crochet flowers too. Just beautiful.
Have a great weekend - even without the fireworks and as we say here in South Texas - pray for rain!

Ooh Joan, another beauty, as all your cards are. Making the sentiment the focus looks so much better than you'd expect, with no focal image I mean, and you picked just the right one to go with the lacey circle. So nicely embellished as well, the crochet flowers, pearly swirl and the leaves all look lovely and positioned perfectly, I am loving the layout of this one. Enjoy your 4th July, the BBQ sounds a fantastic way to celebrate. Pity about the fireworks being cancelled, hope you have some good ones on the TV. CoB
