I'm Feelin Shabby!

Hello everyone....hope you have had a good week!! I can't believe I don't have a single thing written down on my calendar for today so you know what that means....stamping all day.....Whoohoo!!! I will have to do a little weeding but I can get that done in an hour....I am going to a swap on the 24th so I will have a chance today to work on my card packets. Swaps are a lot of work but I so enjoy seeing all my North Texas Stamping friends!! Anyway....Yesterday I was in a CAS mood but today I'm feelin pretty shabby!! I really love to layer on the goodies...LOL!!
I made todays card using this weeks Color Throwdown #140 colors; Expresso, Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, and Kraft. I'm using the Mojo Monday Sketch #189 and the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge which is anything goes as long as there is a butterfly....mine is a corrugated cardboard.

The bird image from Verve's Swan Song set was stamped on vanilla cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa and sponging was done while the image was still in the Nestie. Sewing was done around the background panels, a Spellbinders die was used for the scallop, and the Nestabilities Foliage die was used for the leaves. The leaves were cutout of Kraft c/s and they were sponged with Baja Breeze. Pearls and twine were added to the Jellibean Corrugated Butterfly. The sentimet from Verve's Anniversary Birds set was stamped on the My Minds Eye Stella Rose dp and framed with a chipboard frame colored with a brown copic. Paper flowers, twine, and seam binding finish it off.
Recipe: Stamps: Verve Swan Song and Anniversary Birds, Paper: Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown, Blushing Bride, Vanilla, My Minds Eye Stella Rose dp, Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Baja Breeze on the leaves, Accessories: Spellbinders Scallop Die, Nestabilities Foliage Die, Maya Road Chipboard Frame, Brown Copic, Round Nestabilities, Jellibean Corrugated Butterfly, Twine, Pearls, Prima Paper Flowers, Seam Binding, Sewing Machine

Thanks for visiting today...Happy Stamping!!

This is so pretty and you caught that shabby look perfectly, love all the details, but the butterfly caught my eye first, love that look. Have a great day stamping, I need to catch up on my studying, seem to be behind all the time, hmmm...maybe studying in my craft room isn't such a great idea :)
