Hello everyone....hope you have had a great week so far!!! My DD Holly (hbrown) and I are going to the North Texas Shoebox Swap this weekend and we have both been busy making our card packets. It's a lot of work to get ready for a swap but we have sooo much fun!! We had to create 30 card packets and 2 made up cards...when it's over we all will have 30 different cards to take home...tooo cool!!! Anyway...I made this card last Monday for Splitcoast's TLC challenge. Holly's (Toy) challenge was to make faux buttons. I made my button from the butterfly stamp in the Friend of Mine set by The Craft's Meow. The silhouette image from The Craft's Meow's Butterfly Kisses set was stamped on Stella Rose dp, cutout, and attached over the other Stella Rose layers. Pearls, ribbon, lace, twine and stick pins finish it off.
This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Anything Goes Challenge - bingo-pins, punches, pearls
2. Creative Card Crew - cute and girly
3. Cupcake Craft Challenge - use something you will find in the garden
4. Southern Girls Challenge- let's hear it for the girls

OoooH, I LOVE card swaps! I used to swap at the CKC Valley Forge Convention thru the Papercrafts class, but looks like last year was the last year! : (
