Birthday Wishes

I actually got up early this morning and started working on a card for my friend Barbara's birthday using the Color Challenge on Splitcoast. This was Joanne's (sleepyinseattle) first challenge and boy, she sure did pick a great color combo: Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, and Crumb Cake. I had to sub Soft Suede for the Crumb Cake and used Memento Rich Cocoa on the branch and popped up bird cage. The dessert option was to use pearls or lace...I added one brown pearl to the flower tag.
I used this weeks sketch #20 from the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog and stamped images from Waltzingmouse Stamp's Asian Garden set onto Prima dp called Annalee from Stamper's Dream. Sewing was done around the edges and wrinkled seam binding, button, twine, and little flower tag made from the larger flowers in the same WM stamp set finished it off.

Recipe:
Stamps: Asian Garden by Waltzingmouse
Paper: Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, Prima dp called Annalee
Ink: Blushing Bride, Memento Rich Cocoa, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Wrinkled Seam Binding, Button, Pearl, Twine, Sewing Machine

Now I have got to work on da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday challenge.....Cindy always has such a fun challenge and a great destination for our cards. It's always such a joy to lift someone up by sending them a card to let them know how special they are!!!!

Thanks for visiting...have a great day!!!
