Moxie Fab World Just Because Challenge

Good morning everyone....hope you are doing well!!! This has been a busy week for us...we are still working on my son's house...the open house is next week so the crunch is on!!!! I watched my two little DGS's on Monday...baby Jacob is 11 months old and Gabe is 3...it took this old Grandma a day to recover...LOL!!! We also picked up big grandkids from school 2 days and I worked at the church most of the day yesterday getting ready for a garage sale. My Dad will have some minor surgery this morning and then off to Canton, Texas this weekend for a little shopping at the Trading Days flee markets....whew!!! It makes me tired just thinking about all this....I did manage to sneak a little stamping in which makes me happy!!!
I made this card for a fun challenge on the Moxie Fab World Blog...it's a *just because* challenge that isn't really a challenge.... just a fun thing to do!!! We were to find inspiration from some fun back to school goodies from Kate's Paperie. I chose the Multitaskers Journal because of the awesome colors.
I used Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red, Regal Rose, and Chocolate Chip for the strips in the background and decorated them with some lace, a Prima, a metal frame , ribbon, Zva rhinestone flourish, and the stamped butterfly from Unity's Bevy of Butterflies. It was stamped on Pure Luxury Kraft with Perfect Match Vintage Cream from Papertrey Ink and embossed with clear ep. Copper wire was wrapped around the butterfly to form the antenna and a Martha Stewart Scalloped Border punch was used on the Old Olive layer.
Thanks for visiting this morning.....please say a little prayer for my Dad....his surgery is minor but it's still a little stressful!!! Have a great day, y'all!!!
