Lanterns, Leaves, and Ghosts!!

Good morning everyone!! Hope you are having a great day!! My DH went fishing so I have the house to myself..I bet ya can't guess what I am going to do today!!! I have some new stamps that haven't seen inked yet so I will be doing a little coloring and designing. I spent most of the day yesterday planning out this card....it takes me forever to decide on paper, colors, stamps...Oh, to be able to stamp fast.....that is my dream...LOL!!! Anyway.....
I made this card for the Color Throwdown #110 to use Rich Razzleberry, Basic Gray, and Pink Pirouette and the sketch from Our Craft Lounge's Friday DT Sketch Challenge#30
The adorable Oriental lanterns from OCL's Oriental Garden set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. They were cutout and attached to the background that was stamped with the cherry blossoms image from the same set. The sentiment is from OCL's Giving Thanks set and the ribbon and Metal Sign from Making Memories finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: OCL Oriental Gardens and sentiment from Giving Thanks
Paper: Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, White, Memory Box Poppyfinch dp, SEI's Jolie Chocolat
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Going Gray for the branch
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Ribbon, Metal Sign, Nestabilities
I made this card for last weeks sketch challenge on Splitcoast... I haven't had a chance to upload it till now. The leaves image from Rubbernecker's Fall Trilogy set were first stamped with Dusty Durange, dried for a few minutes, and then wiped down with my embossing buddy. Next, the leaves were stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold ep. The metal leaves were colored with a copic, and attached with dimensionals. The background golden yellow layer was embossed with a leaf CB folder and the buttons, twine, lace, and ribbon finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker's Fall Trilogy
Paper: Dusty Durango, Prism Suede Brown Medium, Priam Papaya Puree Medium, Me and My Big Ideas dp
Ink: Versamark, Dusty Durango
Accessories: Metal Leaves, Copic, Gold ep, Nestabilities, Lace, Ribbon, Buttons, Twine, Cuttlebug Folder

Last weeks Ways to Use It challenge on Splitcoast was to use twine....I love to use twine!! The cute little ghost stamp from A Muse was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white ep. The background paper is Basic Grey's Eerie and the button with the black twine finishes it off.
This was such a fun little Halloween card to make. The orange button looks ok but I would really like to find some pumpkin buttons. If anyone knows where I can find them, please let me know!!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: A Muse
Paper: White, Pumpkin Pie, Black, Basic Grey Eerie
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Button, Twine, Dimensionals, White ep

That's it for today....thanks for dropping by and if you are in the neighborhood, come on over and we will do a little stampin!!!!!

I love all your cards Joan! I especially love the lanterns card - great color combination. It takes me forever to get a card made for the same reason - can't decide on colors, papers, etc!
