Christmas Bird and da Mudder's Kitties

Hello everyone...hope you are having a great day!!! My cousin Larry and his wife Shirley are here visiting this week from Iowa. One of our donkeys was born on Larry's birthday so we named him Little Larry. Every time they come to visit Larry has to check up on his little God son...make sure we are treating him right. Actually, Little Larry is the prettiest of all the donkeys but I'm not going to admit that to my cousin....his head is big enough as it is...LOL!!! Anyway....I wanted to share a Christmas card I made for the sketch challenge over on the Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog. The bird image from Sewing Box Hugs was stamped on Memory Box Mistletoe dp, cutout, and popped up with dimensionals. The edges of the background were sewn and distressed and the banner sentiment (from the Oven Fresh Gingerbread Joy set) , wrinkled seam binding, button, and twine finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse
Papers: White, Riding Hood Red, Memory Box Mistletoe dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Button, Twine, Wrinkled Seam Binding, Sewing Machine, Dimensionals

I made this card yesterday for the Color Challenge on Splitcoast to use Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze, and Wild Wasabi. I also used the sketch from Card Pattern's Challenge #82. The challenge colors and sketch were both perfect for da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday Challenge on Splitcoast. It seems two kitties named Nibbles and Fritz are being moved from Texas to California....much to their displeasure. I'm hoping this fine looking RV will make their trip a little more comfortable. The Unity trees were paper pieced and the Bella Blvd. camper and MFT's kitties from Congrats All Around were colored with copics. The destination for our cards this week is the sweet Bertie (Bertlady) who moved to California and needs some welcome to the neighborhood cards!! We will be having out teaparty at her new house on top of all the boxes...Whoohoo!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Bella Blvd. Clear stamps (RV), Unity stamps (trees), My Favorite Things Congrats All Around (Cats), Stampin Up (Track Wheel)
Paper: White, Baja Breeze, October Afternoon Cozy Home dp, Prism Desert Coral Dark, Stampin Up dp for the trees
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Pearls, Nestabilities, Brick Embossing Folder, Ribbon, Copics

Thanks for visiting today....have a great Wednesday!!!!
