Planes and Trains

Good morning everyone...what a great day to do a little stamping!!! It's almost noon and I am still in my pj's....I just love reitrement!!!

Today's Color Challenge colors on Splitcoast are Soft Suede, Apricot Appeal, and Almost Amethyst...who woulda thought this combo would look sooo good!! Betty, you are a genius!!!

This is also for da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday challenge...it seems we are going to Byrdellas birthday party in California. I chartered this adorable little plane by Rubberneker Stamps so if anyone else needs a ride, just let me know!! I have a few little birds following me so I hope they can come to the party, too!! Not sure I want to get on that train but I'll do it to get out of the rain!!!
I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch, the cloud Die-namics from MFT's, and the buttons finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps
Paper: White, Almost Amethyst, Soft Suede, K&Co. Itsy Bitsy dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Buttons, Martha Stewart Twine, Dotted Swiss Folder, Die-Mamics Cloud Die, Copics

I was sooo excited to see my friend Pam Hooton (Iris) as Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Sunday...have you ever seen such a gorgeous gallery of vintage shabby chic designs???!!!??? Missy Piris...you are my ideal!!! I love every single card you have ever made!!!!!

I chose to case Pam's CSSC93 peek inside card (not that my humble card could ever compare to hers). I kept the same basic layout and shabby design but changed the stamps to Clear Dollar Stamps Scripture Children, changed the colors, papers, and frame. The distressed frame came from a yard sale box of goodies I found last week....don't ya love it when you find a box of treasures!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar stamps Scripture Children
Paper: White, K&Co. Itsy Bitsy
Ink: Bashful Blue
Accessories: Buttons, Twine, Scalloped Edge Die-namics, Pom Pom Trim, Lace, Silk Roses, Frame, Ribbon, Nestabilities

Thanks for visiting today....now I better get in the shower before someone knocks on the door!!!

Great cards! My fave it the plane at the top it is so adorable! I am so jealous of your retirement. I love being a nurse but the older I get those 12 hour shifts where you don't get to sit down, get harder and harder.
