CAS Design and a Sale!!

Good morning everyone!!! It has been a little crazy around here with grandkiddos visiting for Spring break!!! We have been on the go all week...movies, video arcades, visiting cousins, fishing, and staying up till all hours of the night in the craft room!!! My DGD's have been making cards and I have been cleaning up the mess...what's up with that???? Anyway...

I thought I would share this CAS card I made Monday (before the Grands came) for the CAS challenge on Splitcoast. The leaf from Rubbernecker's Fall Trilogy set was stamped with Wild Wasabi with a hint of Always Artichoke on the edges. The paper squares are from Basic Grey's Origins and a button and twine finish it off. I will wait to add the sentiment...I think this will work ok for many different occasions. It's pretty simple but took me forever...CAS doesn't come easy for me!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Fall Trilogy
Paper: Vanilla, Basic Grey Origins
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Button, Twine, Square Punch

BTW.......Rubbernecker Stamps is having a sale for the next 5 days...Whoohoo!!!

You have till midnight, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 to take advantage of this great sale!!!

Love, love this one. Well balanced and so creative. I just noticed you live in TX. We are possible relocating to Houston. I will know for sure by tuesday. DH is struggling with the decision to stay or go. How do you like TX?? Are you anywhere near Houston??
