Hello everyone!! It's almost 5PM and I just finished my Inspiration challenge card....I do have a good excuse, though! My Sister and her family are visiting from Iowa. They came from the snow and cold to some beautiful 70 degree weather here in Central Texas!! Kathy has been running around in shorts and lovin this southern winter.The Inspiration challenge today comes from the Cake Nouveau site. What a yummy place to visit...I can't imagine how anyone can make such beautiful cakes!!! Loads of inspiration here!!

ose to use the teapot cake as my inspiration and used 4 different Rubbernecker Stamps: The Heart Teapot and Single Heart Teacup, background stamp called How Do I Love Thee, and part of the Brush Heart Topiary image.The teapot and teacup were paper pieced with Basic Grey Urban Prairie dp. BG Urban Prairie dp was also used for the background layer and the RN background image was stamped with Pink Pirouette behind the teapot.
The heart was cut from the top of the topiary image, colored it with a copic, and added the heart button ( the back loop was cut off) with a glue dot and the scallops were made with the SU scallop punch.

Love this card, Joan. Yes, I saw the lovely and unusual cakes this morning, but haven't made a card yet.
I have the Urban Prairie paper too and it is so pretty. I like the way you pieced it onto the tea pot, very nice.
