Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks: Forever and Always and Block Party - Love

Hello everyone and welcome to the Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks!!! I can hardly believe it's March already...we have daffodils blooming and the peach trees are loaded with blossoms...it must be spring!!! The theme for this months release is weddings and spring...I can't wait to show you all the new Taylored Espressions stamps, dies, embossing folders, papers, and sequins!!!!  So get comfortable with a cuppa something and let's get started, but first.....

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

My first card features the Forever and Always die...it was cut out of Silver Metallic paper, adhered to a piece of acetate, and mounted on foam tape to create a shaker card. The new TE Wedding Sequins, gold glass glitter, and tiny hearts cut with one of the Carried Away coordinating  heart dies were used in the shaker.

The background was created by adhering stripes of White Shimmer Paper and Gold Metallic Paper. Sticky tape was added around the background edges and sprinkled with gold glass glitter. The tiny hearts cut out of White Shimmer Paper with the Carried Away coordinating heart die and gold cording finishes it off.

My next card was created with the new Carried Away stamp set and coordinating dies and the awesome new Block Party - Love die!! The Carried Away couple was stamped with Memento Gray Flannel and the sentiment from the same set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black across the balloon tails. The little hearts were cut from Cherry Pop cardstock and adhered to the end of the stamped balloon tails.

The Block Party - Love die was used at the bottom of the card base and paper from the  We Go Together 6x6 paper pad was used to frame the diecut and to matt it on the back inside.  This die could be used vertically, horizontally, or on a diagonal...I sooo love it!!

TLC523 - Scene in a Circle

Hello everyone!!! We have had such a crazy week....we had company visiting from Iowa and Mom's knee swelled which bought her a trip to the doctor. She got a steroid injection on Wed.  and by Friday she could walk without the walker...yay!!! My cousin and his wife left for home yesterday...they ran into some snow and sleet so they were real glad to get home!! Anyway...

It's my turn to host the Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast and I have a fun one for you....it's called Scene in a Circle. Here are the deets:

1. Create a scene with stamps, dies, or both on a piece of cardstock and then cut it out with a circle die or punch.
2. You can also cut the circle first and then create the scene...what ever floats your boat!!!
3. Be sure to use the scene as your focal point and build your sketch around it or...
4. Create a round card design with the scene in the center.
5. Be creative and have fun!!

My card features The PTI Holidy Home stamp set and the PTI Snow Drifts die...the church was stamped with Crumb Cake and cutout with the coordinating die. It was adhered over the snow drift and the cloud and sun were cut out with dies from MFT. The sentiment is from a SU set called Take Care and it was stamped on a banner die from Reverse Confetti. The sewing and scallop border from reverse confetti finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can make time to create a round scene with us this week!!!
