Hello everyone and welcome to day one of the Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peeks!!! Taylor has outdone herself with the fabulous new stamps, dies, and embossing folders this month...I can't wait for you to see all the new goodies. The April Release is Thursday, April 7, at 7:00 AM PST (9:00 AM CST). Now, grab yourself a cuppa something and enjoy the show!! But first....

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog to answer Taylor’s Question of the Day for a chance to win a prize from the latest release!

My first card features the super fun Plot Twist Stamp set...the sentiments were created to fit on a book mark but I wanted to show you they could be used on a card, too.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Gray Flannel on Sugar Cube cardstock that was cut out with the previously released Postage Stamp Stacklets....the flowered patterned paper layer was also cutout with the Postage Stamp Stacklets.  The flower and leaves were cut out of patterned paper using the new Build a Bookmark die set...

an enamel dot was used in the flower center and a button and cording was adhered to the previously released Stitched Banner Stacklets diecut.
Sewing was done along the edge of the botton panel to finish it off.

Supply List:
Taylored Expressions Stamps: Plot Twist
Paper: Toffee, Sugar Cube (TE), Front Porch 6x6 paper pad (Pebbles)

My second card features A Thousand Stitches stamp set and the adorble Little Bits - Needle & Thread die set. The background was cutout of Cupcake cardstock with the previously released Stitched Rectangle Stacklets die and embossed with the Cross Stitch Embossing Folder.  The previously released Stitched Scallop Edger was used to cut the scallop out of Sugar Cube cardstock and it was adhered to the patterned paper that was cutout with the previously released Stitched Rectangle Stacklets die. The sentiment from A Thousand Stitches was stamped on Sugar Cube cardstock that was cutout with the previously released Postage Stamp Stacklets die.

The spool of tread was cutout of Toffee cardstock and the *thread* was cutout of Watermelon. The needle cutout of Metallic Neutrals - Silver cardstock  was adhered to the spool and then real thread was laced through the needle.
