Negative Die Cutting

Hello everyone!!  I have been playing around with some of my Taylored Expressions dies and decided to create a card with the negative diecut technique.

One of the frames from the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate was used to cut the design panel from Candy Corn cardstock....the vase from the Various Vases die set and the flower from the Bloom Where You're Planted set were cut out of this panel. The Pocket & Pages - Circle Words die and the little butterfly from the
In Flight Overlays die set were cut out of  Sprinkles cardstock

A scrap piece of patterned paper from the TE 6x6 paper pack - Double the Joy was adhered to the back of the vase cutout with foam dots and then the leaf die from the Bloom Where You're Planted die set was used to cut out the leaves.

Peapod cardstock was adhered to the back of the leaf cutout and Sprinkles cardstock was adhered to the back of the flower diecut...both were adhered with foam dots.

The SMILE was cut out of the Pockets & Pages - Circle Words diecut and adhered to the front of the card along with the little butterfly. The panel was then popped up on the same paper as the vase.

To finish it off, an enamel dot was added to the flower center.

Thanks so much for stopping by...have a wonderful day!!!

I LOVE how you have done this with the peek of the plaid in the vase. The dimension with the butterfly and "smile" is a great effect!
