Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks: On Dasher, On Dancer and Mitten Garland

Hello everyone and welcome to day 3 of the Taylored Expressions  October Sneak Peeks...I'm so glad you came to check out all the wonderful new stamps, dies, papers, and sequins!!!! Remember, tomorrow is release day... October 2, at 7:00 AM PST!!! All the fabulous new goodies we have been showing you will be ready to go home to live with you in your own crafty space...how cool is that!!!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

My first card features the super cute On Dasher, on Dancer die....it was used on the new TE Matched Chocolate Truffle card stock. The sentiment die is from the new TE Mitten Garland die set and it was cut out of TE Cherry Pop card stock.

The new Label Stacklets 9 was also used...the new Matched Salt Water Taffy cardstock was embossed with the new TE Winter Flurry Embossing Folder and the Gingerbread Lane Sequins were scattered on the front.  Gingerbread Lane 6x6 paper pack paper was used in the background and the ribbons and sewing finish it off.

Now, for my favorite project this week....I made a mitten garland using the new TE Mitten Garland die set!!  I even dug out a few Christmas decorations so the mantle would look a little Christmasy...LOL!!

The mittens were all cut out of Taylored Expressions Felt...the colors included Marshmallow, Red Hot, and Robin's Egg. My camers won't pick up the color of the Robin's Egg...instead of a teal color, it looks light blue. The real color is shown at the bottom in the Inlinkz photo.

Crouchet thread was used to sew the sides together and a loop was added for hanging.

The previously released Mini Caps Alpha and #'s dies were used for the names. The snowflakes and letters were adhered with just a scant amount of glue...I used a toothpick to apply the glue.

I decided to use all my big kids names and their spouses instead of the Grands....

I will add the Grands hopefully by Christmas!! This die can also be used to make a gift card holder...just leave the top open to insert the card.

Thanks for visiting again.....If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete blog roll of our participating designers...I can't wait for you to see what they have created for you today!!! Remember ...tomorrow is the release...October 2 at 7:00 AM PST...woot!!
