Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge!!! Vickie is our hostess with the mostess this week and what a fun color combo she came up with!!! I just love orange and blue together...it's such a happy color combo!!
The sentiment was created with the TE Sweet and Simple Alpha Lower dies and the banners were cut from Simple Stories A Charmed Life 6x6 paper pad. The sewing and enamel dots finish it off.
I loved this color combo so much that I just had to make another card!!! The background was created by sponging the challenge colors on the background using the Taylored Expressions Lattice Cutting Plate diecut as a stencil. The celebrate word diecuts were made with the TE Sweet and Simple Alpha Lower dies and the ice cream cones were made with the TE Little Bits Ice Cream Cone dies.
The sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions Chalkboard Elements stamp set and the piercing and twine finish it off.
Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors.....use what you have as long as they are close to the challenge colors and be sure to add CTD300 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!!
