Good Friday morning everyone!!! I have had such a good week....instead of cleaning, washing clothes, and cooking, I have been stamping...Woot!!!! I thought I owed it to myself since this is a new year and I have got to get my priorities straight.....the only problem is that the housework just sits there and waits for me to get it done...dang!!! Anyway...
I had fun playing along in some of the challenges on Splitcoast this week. The first card was made for the Sketch Challenge hosted by Korin. I used papers from Echo Park's Be Mine collection and the cute Stampendous
heart stamp. It was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white ep. Chalkdust
was sponged on using white craft ink and the chipboard key is from K&Co.
Yeaaaa, one more Valentine for the Grands!!
This Valentine was made for the Color Challenge hosted by Peggy. She challenged us to use Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, and Rose Red. I used some stickers from K&Co., A Cherry Lynn Die, and a doily..pretty simple but now I have yet another Valentine ready for Happy Heart Day !!
Thanks for stopping by...have a super great day!!!

Nice cards! And yeah on the no cleaning and stamping instead! I say hire a cleaning lady :)
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment.
So very pretty. I love your take on the sketch. Sometimes sketches intimidate me because I want more on the card. Anyway, no matter what you do it always turn out great. Glad you had a fun week.
how amazing and romantic!
i love all your wonderful details!
hugs and kisses from germany,
silvi xoxo
Joan, both of these will be so pretty and just adorable for the grandchildren!!! I'd better get started on mine too now.
Housework will ALWAYS be there - another day isn't going to matter a whole lot! LOL!

Wow! these are gorgeous Joan! Love all the pretty hearts and especially the lattice one with the red leaf swirl… absolutely stunning!
Ah the dreaded housework never goes away does it... but glad you have got your priorities right for the New Year... you need to make time for yourself too! ;-))
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Big hugs
Sue xx
pretty cards...loving all the hearts..
Why worry about housework when there's creating to be done? Besides housework gets done only to be done again and again! Fantastic Valentines! Love the wonderful colors of the first one, the black is so dramatic and the second one is just cute!
Both are fabulous, Joan! Love these Valentine's! I'm sure the grands will too!!!
LOL I'd skip housework too....do it all the time ;)
Both of these are very pretty! Great valentines.
