Happy Saturday!!!

Good morning everyone....hope all is well with you!!! We have been on the go all week!!  I don't think anything got done around the house, either...oh well, so what else is new???  Our church Christmas craft sale is in a couple of weeks and I have been making lots of goodies!!! I will get a few pictures taken so I can start sharing all the projects with you!! I did get to stamp a little at the first of the week....this card was made with a Glitz Design set called dancing in Sunshine. The silhouette image was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored in with a Copic. The rain drops were stamped with Pool Party onto Pool Party card stock and the background kraft layer was dry embossed.  Twine from The Twinery is the only embellie.

This card was made for last weeks Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast to make an acrylic block collage. For my card, I used some ranger inks for the color blocking, a Rubbernecker Script stamp in the background, and leaves from Rubbernecker's Fall Trilogy set on top. I'm afraid the color didn't take in places but that's ok...makes it looks kinda rustic and the raffia finishes it off.

Thanks for dropping by...have a great day!!!!!

Love the cards. I really like the embossed part of the first card. This must be a new pattern. I love the look of your second card. I never would have noticed the color didn't take on your second card if you didn't mention it. I think the look is awesome. Love the raffia, too. Thanks for sharing.

Both of these are fabulous! Love the sentiment on the first one and I think the way the background on the second card turned out gives it character and personality.

Very pretty cards! I love the sentiment in the "raining" card and of course your whole card is nice, and I love the bright colors you used on your collage card. Thanks for the inspiration!

The first card is so sweet, Joan... AWESOME sentiment!! :)
The second card is dreamy beautiful. I think the color not "taking" actually adds to the beauty of the design. LOVE them both!!
