Color Throwdown #212

Good morning everyone!!! It's Wednesday again and time for another Color Throwdown Challenge!   The super talented Bar is our hostess and she has picked some yummy fall colors for us this week!!!!  Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors...use what you have that comes close...we want everyone to have a chance to play!!! I also want to welcome my sweet friend and ooooh so talented Dawn Easton, who is our October Guest Designer....Whoohoo!!!!!

I bought a new Flourishes stamp set a few weeks ago and finally inked it up....it's called Country Road and ya just know I had to use the horse stamp...LOL!!! It was stamped on the More Mustard card stock that was layered with Riding Hood Red card stock and tied up with raffia and a button. The background paper is from Simple Stories Harvest Lane paper pad and a little sewing was done around the edges...I even had a little Blue Bayou card stock for the background!!!

This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Bunny Zoe's Crafts - distressing
2. Cards for Men - animals
3. Creative Stamp Friends - Autumn colors
4. Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Fall colors

Be sure to add CTD212 to the keywords when you upload your card to an online gallery so we can find your work!!

Gorgeous! Love how you separated the sentiment and image with raffia and that great pop of color (aka the button). Fun stitching all around too.

hiya Joan, a great set of colours in the challenge this week, and I like how you picked out the mustard in the main panel, it makes it such an autumnal card.

Loved seeing the pics of your butterfly album and all the lovely photos of your family - what a nice keepsake.

And the pics of your canine houseguests are great - bet there is never a dull moment with them all there, lol.

Hope you and the family are well. It's beautiful autumn over hear now and we are having some gorgeous sunny days. A lot of the country have had floods again but luckily it's been dry here. Don't you love the glorious autumn? keep well.
