TLC390 Water Stamping Technique

Hello everyone....hope all is well with you and your's!!! My Dad has been in the hospital again this week so I have been MIA!! He was discharged today so we are all happy and relieved!!! I came home for a few hours last night so I could finish my TLC challenge card and upload my post on Splitcoast...you can check out the challenge here! I was so out of it that I uploaded the wrong challenge and I uploaded it to my blog as well...yikes!!!! I realized my mistake, deleated that challenge and created a new one....what a mess!!!! Well, folks, I now have the right challenge posted on both Splitcoast and here...Whoohoo!!!!

The challenge this week is Bev's Water Stamping Technique she shared with us on the front page of Splitcoast!!! It's such a fun technique so go check it out....you are going to love the results!!!

My card features the Victorian Diamond Panel background stamp from Rubbernecker...it was water stamped on a piece of white card stock that was sponged with Ranger Inks...Evergreen Bough and Dried Marigold. The damask stamp from the Clowns and Crowns set and the sentiment from the Garden Tree set are also Rubbernecker...they were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and the background card stock is Bermuda Bay. The punched butterfly with pearls and seam binding finishes it off.

This is also for a few other challenges:

1.  Joanna Sheen Challenge - try something new (stamping with water technique)
2. That Craft Place Challenge - things with wings
3. Sweet Stampin - things with wings

Thanks for stopping by....have a wonderful day!!!!

Hiya Joan, well it's been a whole month since I was last blogging, so I have an awful lot to catch up on! Will be going to read all your posts for the last month and catch up on your news too.

Sorry to read that your Dad was back in hospital, I bet you are all a lot happier now that he is home. Hope he is doing well.

and what a gorgeous elegant card! I think the black seam binding and black stamping look lovely, especially with the background you made. Take care, CoB
