I'm Feelin Shabby Today!!

Good morning everyone....hope all is going well with you today!!! I worked yesterday so I didn't have time to be lonely...sure do miss having kids running around, giggling and laughing, however, I'm sure I will get used to the peace and quiet real soon...LOL!!! My A muse Contemporary Greetings stamps were still sitting on the table so I decided to make a shabby birthday design with distressing and sewing. I just love the colors in the Prima Melody dp and I added a Jellibean corrugated frame, a Kaisercraft wood butterfly, lace, seam binding, button, and twine.

Thanks for visiting...I'm off to get ready for a dentist appointment...not my favorite thing to do!!!

This is amazing, love all the shabby chic details you have with the card as well as the deep rich colors and pink with the crimping and the butterfly. I commented on your previous post about the horse stamp, it is Inkadinkado Clear Stamp Set, they have it at Amazon, I found mine at Hobby Lobby about 3 months ago.

Shabby, you? Never! I rather see you as quite a glam stamper actually.

Oh you mean your card! Well, it's gorgeous of course. I love the way you've torn and distressed the edges of the papers, and lovely to see one of your big bows (to me, that's kind of your signature).

Thanks for your super comments petal, you bring joy to my day to read them.

yes, it's worrying over here right now, hopefully we are far enough away from the trouble, but the outerlying areas have seen some problems and all areas seem to be wary. My heart goes out to the people in London though who have lost their homes and businesses. Hope it all calms down very soon.

Hope the dentists appt went well and that you gave yourself a little treat for being a brave girl, lol. Take care. CoB
