Boy Birthday

Good morning everyone....I thought I would share another birthday card I made for my DGS Ryan...every 10 year old needs 2 birthday cards, don't they!!! I colored the little soccer players blue and red which are his team colors. The stamps are from Rubbernecker's Soccer Sentiments #470, Soccer Co-Ed #470, and the sentiment is from Flower Silhouettes #467. All the images were colored with copics, cutout, and popped up with foam dots. Clouds were sponges on the white background layer with Bashful Blue and the paper is from SEI's I'm an Athlete.
Soccer ribbon, a soccer ball brad, and the grass die from MFT's finishes it off. This was just too much fun to make...hope he likes it...he may like the money inside better...LOL!!!

These are a couple of the hybrid Iris in my garden that I will be entering in the Iris show on Saturday...I'm hoping they don't fall apart before Saturday morning!!! This is the first time I have entered so I don't expect to win...some of the gardners have been doing this for 20 years or more!!! I'll upload pictures of the winners on Sunday's post.

Thanks for visiting...have a great day!!!

The iris is so beautiful. But it's so early. Only in the 30's here. Where do you live that you have that kind of flowers already. Enjoy. Edna

Beautiful iris! Mine iris is about two inches of leaves popping out of the ground. Good luck Saturday!

What a great card for 10 year old and how fun that the little soccer players are the team colors, love it. Your flowers are gorgeous, I love Iris, my mom had a garden full of them, so one of my favorites. I may just have to borrow those colors for the next Iris I color :) Good luck!!

Wow your iris' are beautiful Joan! I can't believe they're blooming so beautifully already! We still have snow and my tulips are just popped through the ground :)

What a fun card for your grandson. I think the best part of stamping is often creating something perfect for someone you love!
