Belli Challenge and some Exciting News!!!

Good morning everyone!! I have some exciting news this morning...I was asked to be February's Guest Designer for the Color Throwdown Challenge Blog...Whoohoo!!! They always have the most wonderful color challenges and their designers are among the best in the business!!! Thanks, ladies...I am thrilled to stamp with you this month!!!

The colors this week are:
The adorable little Tulip Girl from Cornish Heritage Farms was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copics. Sponging and sewing was done around the edges and I used the sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch blog. The sentiment is from a retired SU set called Fancy Flexable Phrases and the ribbon, button, and twine finish it off.

Recipe:
Stamps: Cornish Heritage Farms
Paper: Whisper White, Prism Tawny Medium, Chocolate Chip, Jenni Bowlin Studio dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Nestabilities, Copics, Papertrey Ink Spring Rain Ribbon, Button, Twine

Be sure to check out what the CTD team has created with these colors!!

Creative Belli Challenge #110

Welcome to another Creative Belli Challenge!! The challenge this two weeks is a fun one....use jewelry on your project!! This can include images that have jewelry on them or use *jewels* such as rhinestones, pearls... some of you might have some old jewelry just waiting to be showcased on a card!!! Be sure to use something old and forgotten from your stash, too...the Belli Challenge is all about using your old stuff and forgotten treasures!!!

The fun image from Gina K.'s Sew Pretty set was paper pieced with Cosmo Cricket Early Bird dp and the same paper was used for the background. I blinged up her jewelry with red rhinestones and the background was sponged with So Saffron. An Early Bird chipboard flower was used with a button and twine, a strip of red grosgrain ribbon with Candy Dots covers the seam in the background, and the sentiment stamped on the banner with Real Red was also from the Sew Pretty set.
Recipe:
Stamps: Gina K. Designs Sew Pretty
Paper: Pure Luxury Ivory, Real red, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Real Red
Accessories: Rhinestones, Nestabilities, Chipboard flower, Button, Twine, Candy Dots, EK Success Scalloped Punch, Ribbon, Copics

Be sure to stop by the other Belli Girls blogs to see what they made for you today....you will find lots of awesome ideas!!! If you upload a card to Splitcoast , PCP, Stamp TV or another online gallery be sure to add CBC110 in the keywords section.
