Hello everyone!!! It's my turn to host the TLC challenge on Splitcoast and I have a great technique for you tonight...heat embossing on dry embossing!!! I first saw this technique on my friend Bev's (TexasGrammy) blog with this adorable card. She has a FABULOUS video here for your viewing pleasure....check it out for all the details on the challenge!!Now...on to my card.....the white background was first dry embossed with a music score embossing folder. An embossing buddy was run over the entire piece of cardstock. Then a brayer was used to apply Versamark to the raised part of the dry embossed cardstock and it was then heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Tinsel ep.
Be sure to use a light touch when using the brayer so you don't end up with Versamark on areas other than the raised embossing. You can use a small brush to brush off any stray embossing powder.
I colored the Rubbernecker Daffodil image with Copics and mounted it on the Pure Luxury Ocean Mist and Kiwi Kiss Nesties Layers. The sentiment is from Stamp Oasis Petite Word Set 
You can see the sparkle from the Tinsel ep on the music score embossed areas.

Paper: Pure Luxury Ocean Mist, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark
Accessories: Embossing Folder, Ranger Embossing Tinsel, Nestabilities, Wrinkled Seam Binding, Button, Twine, Copics

What a great technique, and the tinselly powder looks so good on the music score embossing, very creative of you! Do you wrinkle the seam binding yourself or do you buy it like that? You make great use of it on your cards. CoB
