Birdday Party and a Study in Pink

Hello everyone...hope all is well with you!! I have been stamping up a storm the last few weeks and wanted to share some of my projects. I have really enjoyed my time as the January Guest Designer for Layers of Color Art Stamps...here are a couple of things I made with their wonderful stamps.
The birthday card features the bird stamps from their Birdday Party set....they were stamped on some scraps of My Minds Eye dp, cutout, and attached to the embossed white layer. The sentiment from the same set was stamped on a hand cut banner and sewing was done around the edges of both layers. The pearls, lace, diecuts, wrinkled seam bindong, button, and twine finish it of.
Recipe:
Stamps: LOC Birdday Party
Paper: White, Black, My Minds Eye dp
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Pearls, Flourish dies, Lace, Wrinkled seam Binding, Button, Twine, Sewing Machine, Brick Embossing Folder

This is a scrapbook page I did featuring my sweet little granddaughter, Caitlyn...she is such a little princess and loves pink!! I sponged Regal Rose ink on the doily using the Layers of Color Natural Flourish Art Stencil and added a pearl flourish with porcelain roses. I used stickers for her name and Zva pearl butterfly and flowers.

The edges of the background layers were punched with Martha Stewart Scallop punches and a white Prima flower corsage was added over the wrinkled seam binding and twine bows.

The heart from LOC's Polka Dot Love set was stamped with Regal Rose onto Pretty in Pink cardstock. Glitter was dusted over the Crystal effects that was added to the inside of the heart. A Glimmer Chip mirror was added to frame the heart.
Recipe:
Stamps: LOC Birdday Party and Polka Dot Love
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Prism Intense Pink
Ink: Regal Rose
Accessories: Stickers, Zva Pearl Butterfly Flowers Flourish, Wrinkled Seam Binding, Prima Flower Corsage, Glimmer Chip Mirror, Doily, Martha Stewart Punches, Glitter, Crystal Effects
Thanks so much for dropping by.....hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Hi Joan, hope you are not too chilly over there today, we are having a slightly milder spell.

Well, the bird card is superb, but oh the princess page!!! It's totally priceless, all the little details on it are perfect for the page and of course a beautiful photo of your granddaughter. Love the ink sponging and the pearls on the doily. Oh I could go on and on.... lol. Very special page, what does Caitlyn think of it? CoB

Hi Joan,
Lovely cards! Your little birdday card with the paper pieced birds swirling all around and that polka dot layered cake, the flourishes and colour combo...delightful!
Your little princess Caitlyn is adorable, love the photo shoot and how you framed it out with the scallops, the doily peeking out and the flower/butterfly embellishment placement is so perfect, not to mention that great pearl and roses flourish. What a wonderful keepsake!
Keep creating gf! Loving everything that you share with us :)
