Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast

Hello everyone!! Boy, have I had a busy weekend....we decorated the house for Christmas and then went to Mom and Dads and decorated their house. Mom has a lot of the Dickens houses so we created a little town with snow, trees, and all the little houses and people...it's sooo cute!!Anyway...it's my week to host the TLC challenge on Splitcoast and my challenge is embossing resist. A couple of week ago when we celebrated the 300th challenge I had a chance to go through all the challenges and noted that we have never done a plain old embossing resist....sooo this week we will get that done!!!
I stamped the Rubbernecker Medallion with Versamark onto white cardstock and embossed with clear ep. Sponging was then done over the embossed image with Ranger Chipped Sapphire, Ranger Tumbled Glass, and Elegant Eggplant. The ink was wiped off the embossed medallion, the bottom corners were punched with a corner rounder, and it was adhered to the Elegant Eggplant matting. The sentiment, also from Rubbernecker, was stamped using the wet paper technique. The sentiment was first stamped onto wet watercolor paper with Bashful Blue, allowed to bleed a little, then dried with a heat tool, and stamped again over the first image with Elegant Eggplant. The wrinkled seam binding, button, and twine finish it off.

Okdoky....get out the clear ep and see what you can create!! Be sure to upload to the TLC302 Gallery so we can see your beautiful work!!!

This is also for a few other challenges:

1. Gingerloft Challenge - Bows
2. I Did It Creations Challenge - Vintage Christmas
3. One Stitch at a Time - Old Stash (button and twine) New Stash (new stamp)
4. Artistic Stamper - Christmas
5. Cute Card Thursday - blue
6. The Paper Players - Christmas
7. Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge - Christmas
