Rocky's Feline Friend

Good morning everyone...boy, is it cold here!!! It got well below freezing last night which wasn't good for everyone's plants!!! My DH built me a little hot house thingy with heat lamps and plastic on the outside so the plants could get a little sunlight during the day. Hopefully, it will work and my plants don't freeze!!! Anyway....
I made this for da Mudder's Teaparty Tuesday Challenge on Splitcoast yesterday...I had a hard time catching this cute little kitty...she was shopping and refused to come home...silly girl!!! When I finally found her and explained that I wanted her to go support my little buddy Rocky, she was really excited!! It seemed that Rocky, the adventurous feline, was kinda tired of the Flying Fincharellis getting all the attention so he was planning a fabulous stunt....to bungy jump off the tallest tree and on his way down snag an upside down Fincharelli to the roar of the croud. Rocky needed some felines to cheer him on.

This is also for a few other challenges:
Color Challenge #299 on Splitcoast to use Real Red, Old Olive, and River Rock.
Fresh Brewed Challenge - Christmas/winter
Crafts ans Me Challenge - snowflakes
Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings - Christmas
Stampin B's - Holiday Card
Lollipop Crafts - Christmas
ABC Christmas challenge - Yuletide (red and green)
Pile it On - fur and feathers

The adorable little Rubbernecker Christmas Cat was colored with copics and glitter was added to the cap fur and the snow. The scalloped border, snowflakes, and the button with baker's twine finish it off. The Destination Station this week is Linda in San Antonio who is battling cancer.

Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Christmas Cat
Paper: White, Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Grey Figgy Pudding
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Bashful Blue for the clouds
Accessories: Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch, EK Success Snowflake Punch, EK Success Scallop Border Punch, Button, Baker's Twine, Glitter, Copics

Thanks for stopping by....have a great day and stay warm

What an adorable friend to help out Rocky! Too bad she had to leave her shopping, though. You have dolled her up beautifully and sparkly. Wonderful holiday card and glad you joined the Stampin B's. BTW, hope your plants made it through the night.

Adorable... wonderful snowflake and I like the sparkle on the hat. hee hee
My parents have done this with their plants and it works great, it takes the edge off the freezing anyways. Hope it keeps them going for you Joan.

Fab card, it looks so good in red and green. Good luck in the challenges (I've just put one in the ABC Challenge too!). We have a slight thaw here in the UK today, we've managed to get above zero (yay!) and the snow has all but melted, but set to be veeeeeery cold again tonight. CoB
