Flowers, Butterflies, and a Diva

Good morning everyone....hope you are staying warm and safe!!! It's been cool here and below freezing at night but that is nothing compared to all the snow up North...yikes!!!! I'm ready for spring already!! My DH took our DGS Cole for a few hours so I could work on a some cards and finish my upload....he is such a wonderful man!!!!
I made this bookmark yesterday for the TLC challenge on Splitcoast. I paper pieced some of the flowers from Rubbernecker's Wildflower set #465 and colored the leaves and the smaller flowers with copics. The butterflies were punched from some glittery paper from Doodlebug and a few pearls and bling finishes it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Wildflower Set #465
Paper: White, Black, Doodlebug Glittery paper
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Ribbon, Pearls, Rhinestones, Copics, Nestabilities

I made this today for da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday Challenge!! Da Mudder wanted the teapotters to have something to identify us by other than black and white polka dots (gotta save those for Mudder) so she hired some professionals to figure something out. After much adoo....they decided a red hat was the answer!!! I brought a red hat (Rubbernecker Fashion Icon set #455) with purple and red plumes (borrowed from a Christmas ornament) and lots of sparkle (the hat was painted with Twinkling H2O's and Stickles was used for the sparkle)!! The destination station is Joyce, mother of Jennifer (mother's daughter) who is battling cancer. Joyce is a red hat lady so I think she will like all the red hat cards!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Fashion Icon set #455
Paper: Pure Luxury Lipstick red, Prism Clasic Purple
Ink: Elegant Eggplant
Accessories: Button, Ribbon, Twine, Stickles, Rhinestone, Feathers, Doily, Sewing Machine, Twinkling H2O's, Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder
I better get in the shower before my men get back...seems we have to put an airplane together! Thanks for visiting and have a great day!!!

Lovely work, I do like the bookmark design, so much nicer than a piece of card with a picture on. Fabulous hat card too, very stylish! CoB
