Hello everyone.....hope you had a great day!!! I have been a little under the weather for the last few days....my Dad and I both have a terrible cough. We thought it was allergies but since Dad is feeling so bad we are going to the doctor tomorrow. I missed Cody's baseball game tonight...:(
I did get off the couch to make this triple challenge card, though....ya can't keep a girl down when there is stamping to do...LOL!!!
I made this card for the Color Challenge on Splitcoast to use Lovely Lilac, Cameo Coral, and Gable Green...yikes!!! The colors kinda grew on me the longer I worked with them.
This is also for the Queen For the Day challenge hosted my the Fabulous Anne Ryan to honor Carol (Carol_PA925). She has such a lovely gallery..sooo many beautiful designs to choose from!! I finally chose her Pink Sweet Peas card. I kept the same layout but changed the stamps to the hot air balloon from Clear Dollar Stamps Air Flair set. I also changed the colors to todays challenge colors and changed the ribbon. Congrats, Queen Carol!!!
This is also for da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday challenge...it's a magical challenge today!! It seems Mudder made a card that disappeared (or in the words of my DGS, it diskapeared!) The challenge is to make a card - the sky is the limit - and let everyone know what we made disappear. Well, wouldn't ya know...there I was minding my own business flying along in my hot air balloon when poof!! I was magically back in my craft room cleaning up my mess!! Now, I would like to know...is that fair??? I was having a great time flying high in the sky and all of a sudden I'm thrust back into reality...jezzzzz!!! Mudder...is this your doing????????????
This is the card I made for my DH's fishing buddy's birthday. This set called Gone Fishing illustrated by Theresa Momber for Gina K. Designs and it's the perfect set for the fisherman in the family!!! I tried to use my brayer but don't look tooo close...I got more ink on me and the countertop than I did on the paper...LOL!!! Don't look too close at the dimension, either...the cattails are a little big in the background but since we live in Texas...everything is bigger!!! The images were all stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and embossed with clear ep. The fish was stamped on a separate piece of white cs, colored with markers, cutout, and attached with dimensionals. The dock was colored with a marker and a few water line squiggles were added to cover up some smudges...don't tell anyone!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Gone Fishing
Paper: White, Black, Pure Luxury Ocean Mist
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Vivid Aqua, Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories, SU Markers, Brayer, Dimensionals
Thanks for visiting tonight....hope you stay well and happy!!!

IHi Joan! Love the hot air balloon...sounds like an odd combination in colors, but looks great together! I know lots of people who would love your fishing card! That background is gorgeous, and the fish is so detailed with your beautiful coloring! I hadn't thought about the size of the Cattails, but now you've got me giggling. :)
