Clearly Inspired Challenge #13

Good morning everyone and welcome to the Clearly Inspired Challenge on Lori McCroskey's blog..... today the challenge is Spring Flowers!!
Use Clear Dollar Stamps if you have them, if not, please play anyway....we would love to see your designs!!! A random winner will be chosen the following Thursday. Upload your cards to Mr. Linky on Lori's blog and if you upload to Splitcoast, use CIC13 in the keywords.

The dragonfly and sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps Air Flair set were stamped onto the Wisteria dp with Rich Razzleberry and Creamy Caramel . The edges were distressed and then layered onto the Cotton Candy and Wild Huckleberry card stock. I also used the Wild Huckleberry for the card base...you should see this is real life....it's sooo shimmery and iridescent!!! I love to do vintage designs because I love to add layers and embellies...the more the better!!! One of the background layers is cardboard with the top torn off to expose the corrugated layer. Spring Violet Glimmer Mist was sprayed over the top to add additional shimmer. The lace, Pretty Porcelain Ribbon, button, twine, pearl flourish and flower bouquet finish it off. I even sewed around the background layer but I don't think you can see it.

Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Air Flair
Paper: Cotton Candy, Wild Huckleberry, Basic Grey's Wisteria
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Button, Twine, Lace, Ribbon, Flowers, Pearl Flourish, Cardboard, Sewing Machine, Spring Violet Glimmer Mist

This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Flutter By Tuesday - anything goes as long as you have a butterfly, fairy, or angel. Hope my dragonfly counts!!!
2. For Fun Challenge - something for mom
3. Cute Card Tuesday - add something you have made yourself- I made the cardboard layer and decorated it with the Glimmer Mist.
4. A Spoon Full of Sugar - 3D something
5. Phindy's Friday Challenge - April showers bring forth May flowers

Thanks for stopping by this morning....be sure to check out Lori's blog, Clearly iStamp for the DT's samples and all the deets on the challenge!!!

What a lovely card Joan. Unfortunately it's not eligible for Phindy's Friday Challenge as you need to use one of Phindy's images. There are lots of freebie images available on her PCP group if you don't have any yet.

Hope to see you playing along with a Phindy image soon.

Best wishes
Anne
