Good News!!!

Hello everyone!!! We have had such wonderful things happen to my family in the last few days!!!
First of all, we have a new Grandson, Jacob David Corbin, born 11/13/09. He weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19" long....Mom and baby are doing great!!!
Our DGS, Ryan, and his Copperas Cove, Tx. flag footbal team went to the state championship this weekend and won 4th place!!! Gooo Ryan!!!
Our DGD, CJ, from Jonestown, Tx. made the 8th grade basketball team and her sister, Autumn, will be a cheerleader...Girls Rule!!!!!
My DD Holly was asked to be on the Cornish Heritage Farms Design Team...Whoohoo!!! I am sooo excited and happy for her...they are lucky to have her, I tell ya!!!!
We spent the weekend babysitting for 4 grandkiddos so this grandma didn't get any stamping done until yesterday evening. I did get a card made for the Features Stamper challenge on Splitcoast since the featured stamper was Dawn (TreasureOiler), one of my Dirty Dozen friend!!! Dawn's gallery is sooo fabulous...sooo many beautiful cards to choose from!!! I finally chose the Merry Christmas TESC88 card to case. I kept the same basic layout and colors but changed the stamps to the polar bear from Clear Dollar Stamps Just Chillin set, added the ribbon, glitter on the hat, and the white Flower Soft for the snow.
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Just Chillin
Paper: Old Olive, White, Pretty In Pink, Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Buttons, Ribbon, Copics, Glitter, White Flower Soft, Nestabilities

This is the card I made last week for the Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast.
I used the adorable pup from Clear Dollar Stamps Dog Days and his cute hat and torn up package from Dog Days Celebrations. The images were all colored with copics, cut out, and attached with dimensionals. Glitter was added to the fur on the hat. The green paper for the grass was cut in wavy strips, attached to the background, and covered with White Flower Soft as was the tree from the same paper. The sentiment from the Dog Days Celebration set says "Tis the season to be naughty".
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Dog Days and Dog Day Celebrations
Paper: Vanilla, Rose Red, Grove dp by Memory Box, Jolly by Golly Mini Deck by Cosmo Cricket
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Soft Sky
Accessories: Snowflake Rhinestones, White Flower Soft, Glitter, Dimensionals
This is the card I made for last week's Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoast. The features stamper was Christine (Christations.ink)
I decided to case her Boo's Snowpeep Case. I love the layout and those darling snowmen!!! I kept the same basic layout and colors but changed the stamps to Clear Dollar Stamp's Jolly Joy. The shape of the sentiment (from the same set) was also changes and red polka dot ribbon was used instead of the silver cording.
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamp's Jolly Joy
Paper: White, Real Red, Old Olive
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Red Polka Dot Ribbon, Copics, Dimensionals, Cuttlebug
Thanks for dropping in today....hope you have some wonderful things happen to you and yours this week!!!
