Mothermark's Tea Pot Tuesday and the Color Challenge

Hello everyone!! I hope you had a great holiday weekend!!! We finally got home Sunday evening and I'm still pooped!! The men fished every waking minute and the girls shopped till we dropped....100+acres of stuff!!! I did a little stamping today inbetwween watching kids after school and helping DH with the lap top. Seems one of the Grands dropped something in the laptop and now the motherboard is fried. It's only 2 months out of warrenty...wouldn't ya know!!! Anyway...enough whining!!
The Muddermark's Tea Party is at a country estate in New York. We also have a mission...to save Ladybug Lou-La-Bella Rock-a-Fella from the clutches of a Bug Thug....I'm sure a real gooie one at that!!! Lou's Mom is going to have a tea and invite lots of friends to save the day!! All Lady Bugs are welcome so I brought along 21 plus 4 ladybug buttons to qualify this for the DDC challenge this week. Fran (Francie G.) is the hostess and her challenge to us this week is to use buttons on your card. Be sure to add DDC to the keywords section so it will go to the DDC gallery! The ladybugs were all stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with a red copic. The black frame and red background were both run through the Cuttlebug with the Dotted Swiss folder and the Swirls folder. Ribbon tabs, and the ladybug buttons finish it off.
Recipe:

Stamps: Very Punny, Because of You, Spring Critters by Clear Dollar Stamps
Paper: Black, White, Real Red, G.C.D.Studios dp
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Nestabilities, Spellbinders Frame, Lady Bug Buttons, Cuttlebug, Ribbon, Top Note, Dimensionals

The Color Challenge colors on Splitcoast today were Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, and Black.
I was a little stumped at first...took me a while to get the old brain to work this morning!! I decided to ink up this adorble tea set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Tea-rrific. The image was stamped with black and colored with copics. The background dp is by Basic Grey, the border punch by Martha Stewart, and ribbon from Michaels. A few green rhinestones were added along the sides of the oval for a little glam.
The ribbon is really a purple color but it looks black in the picture.
