Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks: Love Always Wins and Quick Critters

Hello everyone and welcome to day three of the Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks!!!! Have you made your wish list yet?? My first card features the super fun Love Always Wins stamp set...the tic tac toe grid was cut out of Metallic Neutrals cardstock with the Love Always Wins dies and layered on the previously released Build a Tag 3 diecuts. The sentiment is from the same set and the layered heart was popped up with foam dots. The largest heart was cutout of Cherry Pop cardstock with the Stitched Heart Stacklets die and embossed with the Paisley Embossing Folder. 


The previously released Small Scalloped Border was cutout of Cherry Pop cardstock and sewing was done along the edge. The Metallic twine finishes it off. 


I decided to create a set of cards to showcase the adorable Quick Critters Stamp & Die Combo. 


The same layout was used for all three cards...Formula For love 6x6 paper pack papers were used for the banners. They were all cutout with the previously released Stitched Banner Stacklets and the Skinny Mini Valentine Border die was used on Cherry Pop, Strawberry Milkshake, and Lollipop cardstock. 


The little critters were cut out of  Sugar Cube for the owl and cow and  Strawberry Milkshake for the pig...the faces were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ...the cows spots were colored on with a Copic marker and the critters were all popped up on a scalloped diecut from the previously released Color Block Cutting Plate.   


The sentiments are all from the same set and the tiny hearts finish them off.

Color Throwdown Challenge #372


Hello everyone!! Can you believe it's Wednesday again?? The days are going sooo fast and I'm really behind with my Christams stuff...the tree isn't up yet, the cards aren't finished, and I haven't even thought about baking!! Oh well...it will get done eventually. I'm hoping my Fairy Godmother  will show up pretty soon....I'll make her a list...LOL!!! Anyway....It's time for another Color Throwdown challenge!!! Barbara is our hostess and she has picked a bright and festive color combo for us to play with this week!!



My card features several stamp sets...I used the tiny stamps and the challenge colors to create a festive motif!! I started with the center stamp and pool party ink. Then I stamped the Pink Passion leafy image at the corners of the center stamp and then the crumb cake images inbetween the pink images. The silver flower was stamped at the end of the pink image and the pool party fleur de lis was stamped at the end of the crumb cake image. I just eyeballed the placement of the stamps but you can use a compass to mark the placement with a pencil. The sparkly silver dot was added to the center. 

This card was created with the same technique,  same colors, and some of the same stamps...the center stamp was is different ....it has  an open area to stamp a sentiment.

Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks: Stitch by Stitch /Embroidery Hoop and Peek - a - Boo Hearts

Hello everyone and welcome to day two of the Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks!! Didn't you just love all the cute Valentines the designers created yesterday!!! We have more for you today but first....

My first card features the Peek-a-Boo Hearts Die...It was used to create a shaker out of  Lollipop cardstock and TE Sequins - Sweetheart. The silver background was created with the previously released Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and Metallic Neutrals cardstock. 


The little airplane from the Love is an Adventure stamp set was stamped with Versamark, embossed with silver embossing powder, colored with Copics, cutout with the Love is an Adventure Dies, and popped up with foam tape.  The sentiment from the same set was also embossed with silver ep on the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets diecut and the twine is the finishing touch. 


My second card features the adorable Stitch by Stitch stamp set and the Embroidery Hoop die. The little cat was stamped with Memento Gray Flannel and the heart was colored on the stamp with a bright pink marker. The hoop was cut out of Lollipop cardstock and the hardware was cutout of Metallic Neutrals cardstock. The heart *button* was the cutout from the Peek-a-Boo Hearts die from my first card and the sentiment is from the same set...it was stamped on  the previously released Stitched Banner Stacklets diecut.


The background Cookie Monster layer was embossed with the Swiss Hearts Embossing Folder and the small strip of patterned paper and the twine finish it off.
