Church Craft Fair Christmas Card Sets

Good morning everyone...I guess it's morning...it's almost 1:00 AM and I'm still up trying to finish my Christmas card sets for the church craft fair this Saturday...yikes, it's tomorrow!!!  What a crazy week....my cousin and his wife are here visiting from Iowa, my DGD's birthday was yesterday, and I am knee deep in Christmas cards...LOL!!! Oh well, I can sleep Saturday night!
This card features stamps from Papertrey Ink...the ornament was cutout, colored with copics, covered with glitter, and popped up with pop dots.
The Rubbernecker tree image was embossed with white ep and the bird was popped up with a pop dot. The sentiment is also from Rubbernecker.
The ornament stamps are from a Basic Grey set called Ornaments and the sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamp's Complements of the Season set. Colors used include Pool Party, Kiwi Kiss, and Cherry Cobler.

I had some left over stickers from another project and just couldn't let them go to waste...
The stamp in the background is from Stampin Up's Beautiful Season set..it was stamped with True Thyme onto River Rock cardstock. Real Red cardstock is used for the matting and the button and twine finish it off.
The background was embossed and an oval scalloped Nestabilities was used to matt the sticker.
Group #3.....
An old but favorite PBX stamp was used for this vintage style Christmas card and the sentiment is from PTI....flocked paper adds a little glam and the silver pearls finish it off.
I used an old retired plaid background stamp from Stampin Up! to make the background and the pine cone
stamp is from Penny Black. Handsome Hunter and Vivid's Tuscan Tan inks were used and the gingham ribbon and cotton lace add a country flair.

Last but not least is a Penny Black Santa stamped with Night of Navy onto Bashful Blue...glitter was added to the beard and fur and the punched showflakes and silver balls are the finishing touches.

Now, I just have to wrap each set with a ribbon and get them to the sale along with the other cards I made from my friend Sue's pictures. I will show you more of those this weekend.  Ok...now it's time for this old grandma to get to bed...have a great day!!!

Halloween Fun!!

Good morning everyone....hope you had a fun evening yesterday with all the goblins!! We had a blast!!! Again this year we had well over 250 visiters to our haunted front yard  extravganza!!! The scarey little girl above is my DGD Mackenzie....yikes!!
Here is Egore with a tasty little treat on his tray....
George hung lots of scary, screaming ghouls in the trees....most of them either swung back and forth or up and down and note the huge spider web in the tree!!! George also hung a huge black hairy spider just to the right of this picture and when an adult stood under it he would slowly drop it down....that was really creepy especially in the dark!!  He is sooo bad!!!
Slithering creepy crawler!!!
This huge spider was covered in lights and looks pretty awesome after dark!!
This is Clyde in the coffin....
Scary Mary slinking in the ivy....
The Grim Reaper.....
Horrible Hank.....he would talk to people as they walked by....pretty unnerving!!!
This is the graveyard...the middle ghoul would pop up when someone got close....we heard lots of screams from this side of the yard!!
This is Gag a Maget Margaret...she didn't do anything but look unly!!

Just as it turned dark and we turned on all the lights, my camera died....go figure!! Anyway...I did take some pictures with another camera but I won't be able to download them till tomorrow. Maybe later on in the week I can show you some pictures with lights!!

Thanks for stopping by...I have been working like crazy on my church craft sale projects....I will show you
some of them tomorrow...have a great day!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Good morning everyone!! We are going to have a wild day today...we are working on theHalloween display in the front yard but first I wanted to show you the rest of my Halloween gift sets.....this one features stickers from K&Co. and Memory Box dp.
Stickers were used on this one, too, and papers from Hobby Lobby.
This is Caitlyn's bag....the adorable stamp from Great Impressions was colored with Copics and glitter was added to the wings.
Fun spider paper from My Minds Eye was used along with some pumpkin stickers and a Stickles image colored with copics...tooo fun!! Now....don't be shocked......

Yikes!!! My house looks like the TV show The Hoarders!!!! My husband has a storage shed full of Halloween stuff....this will all go outside for his *haunted house* in the front yard.
This is what my kitchen looked like when I got up this morning.....George has been up since 4:30 AM!! We have no way of locking  the gate in the front so he can't set anything out till morning....

This is the fence he put up around the front yard...he stores the panels at the farm and drags them in town each year for his Halloween extravaganza!! People are already driving by slow and peeking inside to see how it's coming along....I'll have pictures of the finished product tomorrow!!

Have a fun evening...I'd love to hear what you have planned!!!

Halloween Set #9

Good morning everyone....It's after 1 AM and I just now finished all my Halloween sets....can you believe I actually made 14 sets in all!!! My DGD has 3 step brothers and  half sister whom I didn't want to leave out so I worked all day today to finish. We will deliver Halloween goodies this weekend...tooo fun!!!
I used My Minds Eye papers and stickers for this set along with some K&Co. stickers, jewels, and some black ribbon on the bag.

I had so much fun making the Halloween sets, however, as I was finishing the last one I couldn't help think about next year....sure hope they save these for next year cause I'm not sure I want to do this again...LOL!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!!!!
