Today I am featuring the Witty Wine Quotes set...the sentiments are so fun and just perfect for anyone who enjoys wine!! I made a gift set including a card, wine bottle tag, and some fun little wine glass charms. This set will go to my sister for her anniversary...Kathy and her husband love to share a glass of wine together in the evenings after work.
One of the sentiments from the Witty Wine Quotes set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black...the pink flourish from the Wine a Little set was stamped over the sentiment and it was cutout of the Choice Snow White card stock with the Label Stacklets 7 die. Two pink die cuts and two black ones were also cut with the same Label Stacklets 7 die and layered on the back of the white die cut a little off center so they showed just a fraction on all sides.
The wine glasses were cut out of bright pink card stock with the Wine and Dine die set. They were covered with Crystal Effects and the lower half was dusted with glitter. The pink ribbon, pleated ribbon, and button finish it off.
The Bottled Up die is used to create the wine bottle tag....the sentiment and the flourish are from the Wine a Little stamp set and the sparkly wine glasses and the ribbon are the finishing touches.
The label die is from the same Bottles Up die set...I just love the shape and it's the perfect size for a sentiment!!
The little wine glass charms (a wine glass, wine bottle, and a cluster of grapes) were made with the Wine Charms die set....they were cut out of a piece of bright pink card stock, covered with Crystal Effects, and dusted with glitter. When they dried, I repeated the Crystal Effects and glitter on the other side so they were really firm and sparkly!! They were added to a silver wire ring that had a very thin clasp and were alternated with white and black beads. This was such a fun project....I just love it when I can make a gift set for someone and I know they will love it, too!!!
My second project is another Pockets and Pages scrapbook page...I am sooo addicted to pocket scrapping!!!! Because we have five large oak trees in our front yard, my grands come every fall to rake and jump in the piles of leaves. The pictures in my pocket scrapbook page were taken in 2006 of Cody and Mackenzie...they sure did enjoy their day!!!
The tree and leaf stamps from the Falling For You set were stamped on papers from Cosmo Crickets Nutmeg 6x6 paper pad, cutout, and adhered to the baja breeze and ruby red card stock. The sentiments were from the same set and the frames were cut out with the Taylored Expressions Pockets and Pages Essentials - 3x4 die set.
The arrow and the 4x6 frame were cut out of the ruby red card stock with dies from the Taylored Expressions Pockets and Pages Essentials -4x6 die set. The scalloped word bubble was also cut with the 4x6 set.
The journaling pocket included paper from Doodlebug's Happy Harvest 6x6 paper pad and a frame cut with a die from the Pocket and Pages Essentials 3x4 die set. The same frame die was used for the heart pocket and the hearts and sentiment were stamped with stamps from the Falling for You stamp set. The rectangle word bubble and the large arrow were also cut from the 3x4 die set.
