Good Morning everyone...are you ready for some FABULOUS Color Throwdown Colors??? Keva is the hostess with the mostess this week and she has selected such an awesome color palette!!! I hope you have a little time to play...I would love to see what you create with these gorgeous colors!!
My card features the Bird Cage stamp by Penny Johnson Vintage for Stampavie...it was stamped on vanilla cardstock and then the birdcage and the two birds were paper pieced with Stampin Up! patterned paper and colored with copics. Stitching was done around the background edges, sponging was done with So Saffron and Basic Gray and the large wood bird was colored with Copics and popped up with foam dots. The dark gray seam binding, twine, and button finishes it off.
This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Penny Black - All creatures great and small
2. Drean Valley Challenge - stitching
3. Hooked on Crafts Challenge - punch or Diecuts
4. Deep Ocean Challenge Blog - vintage
5. Let's Ink It Up - use your favorite technique (paper piecing)
