Just a Note....

Hello everyone....I bet you have noticed that I haven't been around for a week or so. I thought that I should let you know that I had a knee replacement on April 8th. Due to years of ballet dancing and abuse to my right knee, I'm afraid it finally gave out. I am on the mend now...I'm up walking with a walker and boy do I feel like a little old lady!! Now, all I need is the blue hair...LOL!!! I can only sit at the computer for a few minutes at a time so I won't be able to visit any of you for a few more days. It's a good thing that I scheduled a couple of my Color Throwdown challenges because it will be another week or so before I can stand in the craft room to create. Take care and I will be seeing you soon!!!!

  1. Take care, Joan and recuperate slowly. It will be worth all the discomfort in a few weeks time. We will still be here.

I had to have both my hips replaced in my forties. I'm sure it was from years of abuse as I did lots of track and field athletics when I was young xx

  3. Take good care of yourself. My DH had both of his done 20 and 15 yrs ago. One is much better than the other because he quit exercising too early so keep at it and you will be good as new in time. Thinking of you.

  9. Take care of yourself and do all that necessary rehab and you will be as good as new before you know it. It is frustrating though - taking it day by day, having our usual routines changed. Hugs for a speedy recovery.

  14. Thanks for letting us know what's going on with you. Praying your recovery goes well. Be faithful in your exercises and you'll be in better shape than you could imagine! My mom had the same surgery and did all her exercises-and I couldn't keep up with her once she was recouped!
