Just Cause

Good morning everyone....it's so nice to be back among the living!!!! I have been sick for a week and just yesterday finally felt like creating!! My fever is gone but the cough hangs on and on and on...what a pain!! I hope you are all healthy and enjoying all the mild spring weather....it's so nice to go outside without a coat!! Our grass is green and the iris and daffodils are all blooming....we even have a few bluebonnets!! I thought the drought would prevent them from blooming but they are pretty hardy. Anyway.......

I had a bunch of stuff sitting on my counter so I started organizing...then I thought...hummm...this would look good with that and Ooooh, I forgot I had that!! Sooo, this is what came together...no stamping...just stuff!!
The kraft heart was run through the crimper and sponged with some Vintage Cream ink. The Girls Paperie designer paper was sewn and distressed and the pearl trail was added to the little corrugated cardboard  butterfly. Lace, a button, stick pin, flower, ribbon, twine, and the wood letters finish it off.

This is for a few challenges:
1. Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - lace
2. Craft-Room Challenge - vintage/shabby
3. Crafty Sentiments Designs - things with wings
4. Bunny Zoe's Crafts - shabby chic/vintage

Thanks for stopping by...have a wonderful Friday!!!!

  12. Hiya Joan, I'm really glad that you're feeling better. Pity that cough is still hanging around, they always seem to take ages to go, don't they? anyway, it hasnt affected your mojo...this is really really lovely. You chose so many beautiful little elements, and put them together very creatively, looks gorgeous. enjoy the fine weather, it sounds nice right now (before the temps get too high). CoB
