Good morning everyone....it's a special day around here!! My parents are celebrating their 66th wedding anniversay today!!! They were married during WWII on Jan. 27, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dad was a skinny little sailor and mom was a beautiful little brunette who stole his heart.
They are such a cute couple and I love them dearly!!!
I made a card last night for the Color Throwdown to use Early Expresso, Kiwi Kiss, Marina Mist, amd Old Olive. I used the Mojo Monday 175 sketch and the Winter Wonderland theme is for The Shabby Tea Room Challenge.
The cute Whipper Snapper stamp called Winter Wonderland was colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Verve's Winter Mittens set. The rick rack die cut, wrinkled seam binding, button, and twine finishes it off. I was really glad to work with these great colors...I'm kinda tired of all the pink I have been working with lately!!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Verve Winter Mittens, Whipper Snapper Winter Wonderland
Paper: White, Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive, Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown, Marina Mist
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Rick Rack Die, Wrinkled Seam Binding, Button, Twine, Nestabilities
Thanks for visiting...we are taking Mom and Dad out for lunch today so I better get movin!!!
